Maison Mumtaz (“the house”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us about any privacy matter at atelier@mumtazperfumes.com.

We collect only the information needed for the purpose at hand:

• Correspondence. When you write to the atelier, we receive your name, email address, and the content of your message.
• Orders. When you place an order, we receive your name, delivery address, contact details, and the items you choose.
• Payment. Card payments are handled by our payment partners. We receive confirmation of payment, not your full card number.
• Atelier preferences. When you compose a scent, the directions you select are processed to build your sample. They are not tied to your identity unless you place an order.
• Technical data. Standard server logs and minimal analytics that help the site run securely and reliably.

• To answer your correspondence and provide client care.
• To process, fulfil, and deliver your orders.
• To compose bespoke samples to your specification.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
• To protect the site and prevent fraud or abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing email unless you have asked us to.

Where the law requires a basis for processing, we rely on the performance of our contract with you (to fulfil orders), our legitimate interest in running the house well and securely, your consent where you have given it, and compliance with our legal obligations.

We share information only with the partners who help us operate, and only to the extent they need it:

• Payment providers, to take and verify payment.
• Carriers, to deliver your order.
• Email and hosting providers, to send correspondence and serve the site.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.

These partners are bound to handle your information confidentially and to use it only for the service they provide to us.

The site uses only the cookies and local storage it needs to function, such as remembering your chosen currency and the contents of your cart. We do not use advertising trackers. You can clear or block this storage in your browser, though some features may then not work as intended.

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to assist you, and order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, write to atelier@mumtazperfumes.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

We protect your information with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit. Where information is processed outside your country, we take steps to ensure it remains protected to an equivalent standard.

The maison is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of majority in their country of residence.

We may update this policy as the house evolves. The version in force is the one published here, with its effective date shown above.
